About Us
Riverbend Daylily Garden is owned and operated by Sandy and Mike Holmes. Our garden is located outside Xenia Oh. We grow and hybridize tetraploid daylilies. We strive to introduce daylilies with excellent plant habit and distinctive looks. Sandy's interests lie in large unusual form daylilies. Mike prefers the rounder daylilies with the fancy edges. Our daylilies survive in zone 5 where temperatures drop to minus 15 degrees. Our garden is licensed and state inspected.
We welcome visitors. Our garden is open to visitors from June 20 to July 15. Please call in advance. 937-469-4075
Shipping
In the Spring, our shipping starts mid May and runs through June.
In the Fall, the shipping dates runs through September.
Other dates by arrangements.
We ship by USPS priority mail. The cost is $17.00 in the U.S. Or 25.00 UPS. Your choice. USPS has been late on deliveries the past year.
Canada shipping is $75.00 which includes the phyto. At this time we are not accepting international orders unless e-mail approved.
Because of the time involved in processing out of country orders, we have a minimum Canadian order, $300.00
Speaking
Sandy is speaking to clubs. At the clubs request, she will include Mike's variegated daylily program. Fees are negotiated with Sandy. She will provide plants.
