WIZARD OF GALLOWAY is a large hot pink unusual form with a clear green throat. The scape height and the late bloom makes WIZARD OF GALLOWAY easy to find in the garden. Like many unusual forms WIZARD OF GALLOWAY looks a little different almost every time it blooms. Sometimes the petals pinch, but it always twists. The blooms are displayed well above the foliage, often with multiple well spaced flowers on the same scape. It can be a tricky pollen parent so pick the bloom the day before it opens to be sure you get good pollen. Jamie Gossard asked to see this one after he spotted it in the seedling field as he was driving up to the barn.
If you need some striking hot pink color later in the season, this is the daylily for you.
