WHO'S YOUR MAMA

S. Holmes Sdlg SD49 Unknown X Stormy Waters Tetraploid Dormant Mid 6.5".
14 buds, 37 H, 3 Way Branching.

Like many daylilies, WHO'S YOUR MAMA has a different look almost every day. The color ranges from a lighter red violet to light violet depending on temperature. The eye zone is darker, but will break into multiple shades depending on temperature. The sepals have a more pronounced pattern.
WHO'S YOUR MAMA is another daylily from the D field whose marker was lost to the wind. From the placement in the field, I was able to determine that the dad was Stormy Waters (Bali Watercolor X Tet. Cristal Blue Persuasion) but the mama has remained unknown. The first year that WHO'S YOUR MAMA bloomed, I produced 682 seeds from its pollen. The kids have ranged from round to long UF's with a full color range. Some of them are shown below. If you are breeding for patterns on taller scapes and looking for some different hardy genetics WHO'S YOUR MAMA is a good choice. Its funky form makes an interested garden flower.
