Out of a greenhouse cross of 24 seeds, TOOTHY PERFECTION bloomed outdoors as a keeper. It is the most perfect toothy pastel daylily that I grow in form and plant habit. Thank you Gerda Brooker and Larry Grace.
As you've probably guessed, I've used TOOTHY PERFECTION heavily in my hybridizing. While the first scape is not as beautiful as the rebloom scape, the reason probably is due to timing of bloom. The first scape comes up early/mid while the second scape comes up just in time for extended bloom. I would guess that in a higher zone the first scape would look as good as the second scape. TOOTHY PERFECTION is very easy to use and I have big plans for this daylily to produce special kids in the future. TOOTHY PERFECTION is limited.
