THE DEAN is darker lavender with a light purple eye and a big green throat that shows on both the petals and sepal. The flower has a small white edge. It even reblooms when the weather isn't too dry.
The real "The Dean", was Bob Shawhan, my sister in law's father. We are honored that the family choose this daylily as a reminder of such a kind, loving family man.
