SUMMERTIME SUNRISE

SUMMERTIME SUNRISE is a pale yellow self, with an extending multi patterned eye on the petals and sepals with a radiating green throat on petals and sepals. When this seedling bloomed, it had all the qualities of an introduction. It had pretty face, branching, and bud count. So right away I knew its potential for introduction was high. Kathleen Nordstrom thought highly of SUMMERTIME SUNRISE during a garden visit. She had asked for pollen and I remember Larry Grace asking what was going on out there in the field when he saw Kathleen collecting pollen. Alas and sad, Katheen later told me the pollen didn't survive the trip when she returned to Minnesota. Early orders will be shipped from Alabama. Larry Grace has kindly increased the daylily for me.
