ROADTRIP MELTDOWN spends half the day as a rich golden orange self and the end of the day it fades to a cream with the rich golden orange center. Normally I don't care much for daylilies that fade, but I would introduce ROADTRIP MELDOWN's evening look if it appeared in the morning. You will either like this one or you will not. I hope you do.
The name is a reminder of my summer trip with three grandbabies under three who, after eight hours in the car, all decided at the same time that they were tired of traveling and began crying at the top of their lungs. All the adults could do was laugh and wait for the next exit off of the interstate.
