PHILLIP THE MOUSE is cambium red with a darker eye and star shaped green throat. The eye will be more lavender after a cool night. The sepals roll back and the petal shape is slightly different from day to day. When we had more rain than usual PHILLIP THE MOUSE consistently had 27 blooms on the mature plants.
For those of you who don't know Phillip, he is another character from Dave & Ava and quite a packrat. I've learned so much watching nursery rhymes.
