(Mohican Fire X Wanda Evans) X (Mohican Fire X Rowena Yaeger)
Dormant, Tetraploid, Early, 8", 14 buds, 40" H, 3 Way Branching, 11" Wingspan.
MOWER KINGis an early bloomer with an interesting color combination. The red bitone has a lighter midrib which appears to be almost duplicated in the sepals. Mohican Fire gave the yellow green throat. The lighter edge on the petals and sepals came from Wanda Evans. What makes this daylily distinctive is that there aren't many daylilies with this color combination blooming early in the season. MOWER KINGmakes a pretty clump and a nice spot of color when most of the bloom is yellow.
