MORNING FAIE is a tall lovely pink unusual form that seems to dance above its tall well branched scapes. MORNING FAIE is mid color pink with a slightly darker eye that flows into a clear green throat. The edge is a slight cream. The petals are pinched and slightly spatulate sepals that roll back to display a 9 inch bloom with a lightly ruffled edge. If you like pinks without the mauve background MORNING FAIE is the daylily for you. The last bloom on the last scape of the 2017 season was on September 3rd. Our friend John Hric tried to talk Mike into selling MORNING FAIE as a seedling so John got naming rights and is first on the list. If you like later blooms, pink and tall, this is your daylily.
