Magenta Mist

MAGENTA MIST MAGENTA MIST is a great addition for bloom later in the season. The curling sepals and pinched petals are magenta. The lighter watermark flows from a large green throat. Because I breed for large flowers on tall scapes, I always think of MAGENTA MIST as a small flower, but in reality its 7.5 inch bloom on a 30 inch scape will hold its own in any garden. The nice form, good plant habit, and later season bloom brought this daylily out of the seedling field for further evaluation. In the display area MEGENTA MIST definitely held its own with all the big guys around it. MAGENTA MIST is a great garden daylily. The crazy mixed up genetics can produce almost any kind of seedling.
