KASHMIRI CHAI was the freak of the cross when it bloomed. The sibs were all clear reds with similar looks. The pod parent is a sib to LOVE ALL SERVE ALL. KASHMIRI CHAI has several unique features that make it distinctive. It is a stippled bubbly tooth daylily. From a distance KASHMIRI CHAI has an attractive appearance with the white watermark overlaid on a pink speckled self. A closer look at KASHMIRI CHAI reveals the stippling. The pollen parent, TET EMERALD STARBURST also add interesting genetics to the daylily. I haven't had many daylilies to use with KASHMIRI CHAI but I'm working on it. The bud count isn't high but considering KASHMIRI CHAI has rebloom and is very unique, it is being introduced as a hybridizer daylily whose hybridizing ambitions favor stippling.
