GENTLEMAN JERRY is a large deep rosy red unusual form. The throat is a clear green which extends well into the body of the flower. I hoped that is one would be a keeper the first time it bloomed. Even in the seedling field it caught my eye. At the region summer meeting the elevator was broken. As I was lugging my bags down the stairs, Jerry Marlatt insisted that he would take them for me.
