DIAMOND LIGHT

S. Holmes Sdlg C1186 ((Martha Lowry X Lunar Moth) Tetraploid Semi Evergreen Mid 9".
20 buds, 39 H, 5 Way Branching. 11" Wingspan

DIAMOND LIGHT is a clear pale yellow with a chartreuse throat. Both of its parents have contributed their best characteristics to this daylily. Martha Lowry contributed plant habit and color while Lunar Moth provided form and size. DIAMOND LIGHT was marked for selection the first year it bloomed in the seedling field because not only was the color clear but petals and sepal were both lightly ruffled. When DIAMOND LIGHT was blooming in the display bed, Dr. Paul Downie told me that he sure hoped it was going to be introduced. That made introduction a certainty because you never question your favorite dentist.
