What could be more exhilarating than watching your football team "Take It To The House"? For those who might not be familiar with the term, it describes a long yardage football play that results in a touchdown. It's a moment of high-fives and pure celebration.
The daylily "Take It To The House" is a testament to such excitement. Although the original goal with the cross of Bloodsport x Undefinable was to produce variegated toothy daylilies, this cross yielded a stunning Byzantium purple edged rebloomer instead. The joy of seeing this magnificent bloom was truly a reason to celebrate.
An interesting side note is that while the bloom itself is not variegated, I managed to remove a division from the clump that has variegated foliage.
