PINCH OF LAVENDER is sib to this year's FIGI SUNSET.
Bali Watercolor, a favored daylily for narrowing flowers, shows its influence as a parent. PINCH OF LAVENDER is a lavender self with blends of silver with an eyezone that shows light hints of red and which extends into the sepals.
The green throat is stark. PINCH OF LAVENDER starts in full bloom after her sib FIGI SUNSET is near end. They make a perfect combination for extended bloom with lavender. As with our other lavender introductions, I've used PINCH OF LAVENDER in my hybridizing. I'm especially interested in taking the pinched crispate form into my pattern hybridizing.
Makes a nice clump for show.
