MAINE CONNECTION is a clean burgundy purple with a darker purple eye. The daylily is named for our great Maine friends, Susan Shaw, Dottie Hokkanen and Laura Evans, who help us to prepare for the national convention last summer. With the services of our Maine friends we pulled off an almost weed free garden for the Nationals auxiliary tour.
MAINE CONNECTION will give you that pop of color as the season starts to wind down. It has performed well in our drought conditions this summer and has retained a pleasing color even on the hottest evenings. The height makes it the perfect addition any flower bed.
