Named for my mother, MARTHA LOWRY, this flower maiden bloom was a standout in a row of thirty yellow seedlings. MARTHA LOWRY has a distinct illuminating yellow/green color combined with desirable plant habit. With consistent pinched petals and curled sepals, MARHTA LOWRY caught the attention of all daylily lovers who visited the garden. The large flowers displays well on the nicely spaced branches.
We were honored to find out MARTHA LOWRY won a J.C. Award.
MARTHA LOWRY as registered is a dormant. Dependable Northern parents, TWIST OF LEMON, ERIN LEA, and JOSHUA COBB, should make this unusual form hardy in the colder regions. If you love yellow daylilies, I highly recommend MARTHA LOWRY as a garden favorite for now and into the future.
Fertile both ways.
