LOVE ALL SERVE All is noticeably different from many of its related teeth counterparts from the North. The color is improved. So it has been my most used teeth pod parent to date. Like its parent , Wolverine, LOVE ALL SERVE ALL sets pods at 95 degrees in full sun. One of my goals has been to produce teeth daylilies with better color. Since Moldovan's Francis Of Assisi and Scottish Fantasy are in the background, I can give those daylilies credit for the better color breakout. But color isn't the only reason I have used this daylily in hybridizing. With a quick look at the crosses, the hybridizer will realize that this daylily has at least four doses of Tet. Spindazzle in it with a couple doses of Startle and even a dose of Fortune's Dearest. These genetics make it very important for producing teeth. You can even cross it to non-teeth daylilies and get teeth.
A cream toothy example provided below illustrates this point. Sandy bloomed this very rare daylily from LOVE ALL SERVE ALL crossed with a seedling. Who would have ever thought you could take all the color out of a daylily with Tet. Spindazzle in the genetics. Just goes to prove anything is possible!
I've included the parents above, so you can get a better idea of what is is different in it from the pollen parent Wolverine. My thanks to Jamie as I grew WOLVERINE from seed and returned to Jamie for introduction so I know the daylily well. Of the two daylilies LOVE ALL SERVE ALL and WOLVERINE,
LOVE ALL SERVE ALL has surpassed Wolverine in color and edge on the sepals.
The limited release of LOVE ALL SERVE ALL will give the hybridizer/collector
a near exclusive for some time to come. Easy Fertile both ways.
