LET THE FUN BEGIN is has proven to be a stellar parent for UF patterned daylilies. When this flower first bloomed in 2008 there were almost no larger narrow patterned daylilies available, but the small round patterns were everywhere. LET THE FUN BEGIN was crossed into almost every patterned daylily we had in the garden.
When the kids began to bloom, LET THE FUN BEGIN was moved from the field into the select bed.
LET THE FUN BEGIN is a good hybridizer daylily. This mauve lavender daylily with a darker lavender eye and large green throat which displays a slight pattern on cooler days.
LET THE FUN BEGIN may not be the most unique daylily in our garden, but it has proven to be one of the best large UF patterned parents. The pollen is easy to use.
