FUTURE WHISPERS is a lavender bi-tone Unusual Form. By combining Fla2 (a lavender Munson seeding) and Pat Stamile's BaliWatercolor, the lavender genetics have been combined to FUTURE WHISPERS an important parent in any lavender UFO program. After many years of trying for good clean lavender unusual forms, I was so please when FUTURE WHISPERS bloomed.
During last summers garden visit with Heidi, Charles Douglas admired FUTURE WHISPERS as a display plant.
The blooms are well placed on this tall scaped daylily. The lavender color hold well throughout strong light during the day and shows well in the evening. The clear lavender petals display whispers of a chevron eye emerging from the extended green throat. The paler sepals roll back to form a triangular shaped flower.
Fertile both ways.
