FRUIT OF THE VINE

This daylily is a cross of two popular JOHN BENZ introductions. John shared IMPERIAL DECREE pollen with me early so I'd like to thank John. FRUIT OF THE VINE is red- purple self. Gold teeth are on the tips of each bloom. The scapes hold the blooms high over the foliage and which make an attractive clump. This is another daylily that could easily be crossed with teeth daylilies to produce cleaner hardy purples in cooler climates.
