Before daylilies, I was an avid scuba diver. One summer I was lucky enough to dive with the Cousteau Society in the Fiji Islands. What an experience! The simple island beauty, vivid ocean colors, and spectacular sunsets have not been forgotten. This flower is the perfect FIJI SUNSET.
FIJI SUNSET is a large UFO with nicely curled sepals and petal that roll back. This year's introduction PINCH OF LAVENDER is a full sib.. The petal color of FIJI SUNSET is a lavender self with a large green throat, almost resembling a watermark. FIJI SUNSET is one of the early blooming daylilies for us. She should be a valued addition for any person who loves early lavender large flowers. We used FIJI SUNSET as a parent both ways.
