When I acquired these two great little tetraploid conversions from Jamie Gossard, crossed them together was my last thought. But I could not resist. I selected ELFIN SUNSHINE along with this year's introduction ITSY BITSY MOONLIGHT as the top performers of a long cross. Bright yellow gold blooms on tall scapes makes ELFIN SUNSHINE a perennial garden must. ELFIN SUNSHINE is an early mid bloomer which begins with many of our new seedlings. Coupled with ITSY BITSY MOONLIGHT the bloom last around 45 days. Even with its 48" height, the wind doesn't phase it. ELFIN SUNSHINE gracefully sways in the wind. Fertility is high both ways. ELFIN SUNSHINE crossed to unusual forms with color, have kids that are wonderfully branched and bud count.
