CARRIE ELISE

CARRIE ELISE was located at the beginning of a long row of seedlings. Even as a first year seedling CARRIE ELISE had a stunning bloom and good plant habit. The intense green throat extends out on both the petal and sepals. The overall color is a burgundy with lavender tones that becomes smoky lavender the watermark that blends into an intense chartreuse throat. CARRIE ELISE was a garden favorite as a select seedling. This daylily is named for a wonderful young woman who was my physical therapist after the cancer was removed from my neck. For many months she helped me regain use of my left arm and listened when I was having a bad day. I'm honored to be able to name this daylily for her and will always remember her help.
