SWEET CHANCE

SWEET CHANCE is definitely influenced by its environment. When you look at the pictures it's almost hard to believe that it's the same flower. The one consistent characteristic is the rolled back sepals. Like many purple the cold weather brings out the Starman's Quest look. I've gotten many interesting blue purple, keeper kids from this daylily. SWEET CHANCE is named for our big black cat Chance, who wondered into the yard the same day that we decide to add another cat to our family. He has a sweet disposition and was afraid of everything.
