SOPHIE

SOPHIE is a large lavender pink UF with a clear green throat and very fine eye . The parents are a large ruffled pink UF crossed to a seedling from two of my best parent for large UF's. The large green throat fades into lavender eye zone. I failed to get a wingspan measurement, but you will be pleased with the size. SOPHIE is a wider UF with different form every time it blooms. Sometimes the petals pinch, but it always twist. It's displayed well above the foliage with multiple well spaced blooms on the same scape on several days. Like Rowena Yaeger, SOPHIE has the potential to be a good exhibition daylily. Our cat, Sophie, was found living in the bushes raising two litters of kittens just a few month apart in age. She found a good home with us and all her kitten went to forever homes. Sophie, a very small black cat, chose to remain an outdoor cat her whole 18 years. Sophie was the great protector who thought that it was totally acceptable to jump on the back of anyone kneeling in the garden.
