PURPLE SWAGGER

PURPLE SWAGGER is a grape purple self showing pattern. PUPLE SWAGGER is more than an ordinary purple. It has beautiful plant habit with a chevron pattern that performs beautifully in our zone. Initially in planning the of PURPLE SWAGGER, I was pleased with the plant habit of Steve Moldovans KISSED IN THE DARK's, (Vertical Horizon x Digital Imagery), 35 to 38 inch scape, and the genetics of Jamie Gossard's SUPERNATURAL (Dark Mosaic x Tet. Crystal Blue Persuation). Putting these two daylily's together has been one of my most productive crosses. I selected 5 of the cross. PURPLE SWAGGER shows pattern early in the season, on hotter days the pattern subsides. PURPLE SWAGGER is not a fast increase and is very limited.
