OHIO BUCKEYE

OHIO BUCKEYE has been my best eyed introduction to date. The color is a faint pink self, edged with several colors on the petals. The warmer it is outside, the more the edge grows. OHIO BUCKYEE looks beautiful at clump strength which takes a year to establish. Last year I crossed OHIO BUCKYEE into patterned daylilies with the thought of getting different colors in the edges of patterns. We'll see if this effort works. The daylily was admired by Brian Culver and Mike Georges during a garden visit when they walked through the seedlings several years ago.
