Hope Hunt is a mid late bloomer that will add to your later season enjoyment. The light peachy pink self has a great chartreuse throat. This daylily has a pedigree that includes three Stout winners - Webster's Pink Wonder, Heavenly Angel Ice and Skinwalker. Not only is it a great garden flower but is the parent of several select seedlings with great potential for future introduction.
The daylily's namesake is my aunt Hope Lowry Hunt, who celebrated her 100th birthday in 2015. The perfect name for the perfect daylily. HOPE HUNT has been extremely hardy and dependable. Finding Unusual Form daylilies that will set pod has been difficult so Hope Hunt has been a welcome addition to my hybridizing program.
