The daylily was named CANDY CANDY after Candice Candy, a fictional American girl created by Japanese novelist, Keiko Nagita. CANDY CANDY is easy fertile both ways. CANDY CANDY has been my most important parent for fancy eye and edged daylilies. Note, Tet. CRANBERRY EYED PICOTEE is a parent. The genetics are very valuable for dormant eyed daylilies.
